Squench's Tattoos, established in 1985, Jackson's first tattoo shop, is where Josh, owner and artist of Muddy River Tattoo Company, began his apprenticeship in 1997. Yes, we probably tattooed your grandparents. In March of 2021, it became Muddy River Tattoo Company LLC. comprised of artists trained by Squench either directly or indirectly bringing Jackson and Central Mississippi a clean and comfortable place to get tattooed with peace of mind.

Body Piercing:
We are not offering body piercing at this time. Please check back in the future for updates.
Tattoo Appointments:
During our busiest time of the year, even though we do take walk-in's, we strongly suggest you set up an appointment to ensure you get tattooed. You decided on a design. You told your friends and family. Don't let your artist be the last one to know. Set up an appointment in advance to ensure a spot that is convenient for you and your artist.
Walk-in's
When it comes to walk-ins, we tattoo whoever is standing in front of us RIGHT NOW! If the design is something your artist can draw up in 15 or 20 minutes and time allows, you're getting tattooed today!
Please keep in mind that walk-ins are first come, first serve. This means that even if you call ahead to check availability, those spots can be filled in the next few minutes. This is the risk you take with a walk-in. The earlier in the day you show up, the better chances you have of actually getting tattooed or pierced.
